Led Walking Programme

July 2020 Walking Programme

Unfortunately, the Covid- 19 restrictions in Wales do not allow us to publish a programme for July. However, we are considering a walking-based charity project during the month.

The Trustees have been considering how a walk programme can be developed for future months. A Covid-19 assessment has been written that will be used alongside the usual Walk Leader's assessment to  provide a safe walking experience. We are in discussion with Walk Leaders to develop a process to arrange walks but the result may look different to previous programmes.

Visit our website and Facebook page to receive updated news. In the meantime, enjoy walking safely by following the Welsh Government advice

Please enjoy the rest of the summer.

  • You can exercise outdoors as often as you like as long as you observe physical distancing rules and are alone or with members of your household.
  • You must continue to stay local and any exercise should start and end at home and not involve going a significant distance from home.
  • Many locations remain closed to visitors, including a number of popular beauty spots and visitor sites through wales.
Where possible we advise you should also:
  • avoid touching surfaces with your hands, consider wearing gloves.
  • consider using alternative routes that do not pass through gardens or farm yards where social distancing may be difficult or the possibility of entering an isolation area.
  • consider avoiding popular locations and busy times of day if you can.
